Gefis has joined the firm’s Newport Beach office to further expand its business and employment & human resources services practices. Gefis joins the firm from Oswald & Yap. She has over 20 years of experience representing defendants and plaintiffs in business and employment litigation matters.

A business and employment litigator for more than 20 years, Gefis represents both defendants and plaintiffs in trials, arbitrations, mediations, and appeals involving all major commercial and workplace disputes confronting California’s businesses. She is a member of the California Bar Association’s Employment Section and is an Early Neutral Evaluator for the Orange County Superior Court. She earned her J.D. from the Hamline University School of Law (1988), and her B.A., with honors, from University of Wisconsin (1983).
