Walnut Creek, CALIF., November 18, 2010 – Archer Norris is proud to welcome three lateral associates, Jason A. Rose, Carolyn M. Lee and Grace Kim, to the firm. In our Sacramento office, lateral Jason Rose adds depth to our construction litigation practice in California and Nevada. With her LL.M. in taxation, Carolyn Lee strengthens the firm’s business transactions group in Walnut Creek, where she will focus on tax, estate planning and other business issues. Grace Kim bolsters the litigation group in the firm’s Los Angeles office where she will assist with various matters including environmental and business litigation cases.

Rose focuses his practice in the area of commercial litigation where he represents contractors and subcontractors in construction related litigation. As panel counsel for several large insurance carriers, Rose defends design professionals, developers, contractors and subcontractors in complex construction defect litigation in California and Nevada. He received his J.D. from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 2005 and his B.A. from Dominican University of California in 2002.
Lee advises and represents individual and business clients regarding federal, state, and local tax issues. A member of the business group’s taxation and estate planning practice, Lee’s practice focuses primarily on estate planning and taxation, as well as other legal issues of concern to businesses and business executives. Lee received her LL.M. in taxation in 2008 and her J.D. in 2006, both from Golden Gate University School of Law. She received both her M.A. in Community Education and Program Planning and her B.A. from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
Kim focuses her practice on commercial and complex litigation, as well as business and environmental law matters. As a member of the litigation group, Kim works on cases involving environmental law, petroleum, oil, wastewater, and contaminants issues. Kim received her J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2008 and her B.A. and B.S. from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School and College of Arts and Sciences in 2003.
